A spectacular start for the club’s new teams
Created this season, both the women’s team and the reserve team remain unbeaten in their respective competitions, reflecting UE Cornellà’s commitment to the club’s growth and the development of sporting talent within its structure.

The women’s first team: building an identity and growing with ambition
The women’s first team competes in Group 4 of the Catalan Football Federation’s (FCF) Second Division, where it has established itself near the top of the standings without suffering a defeat. The project was launched with the aim of establishing its own structure, building a competitive identity and promoting the growth of women’s football within the club. The team is led and coached by Edu de Grandi. UE Cornellà has full confidence in the team’s potential and is working to ensure the continuity of an initiative that aims to grow with stability, ambition and a long-term vision.
The men’s reserve team: a pathway to the first team
The men’s reserve team competes in Group 23 of the FCF’s Fourth Catalan Division and also leads its league unbeaten, under the guidance of Emanuel Ferrantino. Its purpose goes beyond competition: the club aims to progressively establish the team as a pathway to the men’s first team, providing players with an environment in which to develop and an opportunity to continue progressing within the club’s structure. This connection is already taking shape through opportunities such as those given to Lamine Doucoure and José Caraban, two reserve-team players who trained with the men’s first team. Their experience reflects the club’s confidence in its youth development system and its commitment to promoting talent from within.
Two projects born out of ambition, building momentum through results and sharing the same vision: to keep growing UE Cornellà, today and in the future.
