IN BADALONA, LOOKING FOR A RESPONSE

UE Cornellà travel to face Badalona CF this Sunday (6 p.m.) at the Estadi Municipal de Montigalà, in Matchday 8 of Group V of the Tercera Federación. The Greens are looking to bounce back after their 1–3 home defeat to San Juan Atlético Montcada and rediscover their good form.

Head coach Ignasi Senabre is clear about what is needed: “What will make the difference is how we respond, and we have the ability to do so.” The coach also stressed that “on Sunday, we need to see the team we want to be” and that “we have to turn this situation around.”

Standing in their way is fifth-placed Badalona, who have 11 points and come into the match after a 2–2 draw against Atlètic Lleida. The game will also be shaped by last season’s play-off encounter, in which Badalona eliminated Cornellà to reach the final. The team will now be looking for a positive result to rebuild their confidence and kick-start their response.
